It's no secret that Teen Vogue has been killing the cultural commentary lately, and much of that is due to the brave leadership of 30-year-old Elaine Welteroth. She's the brilliant editor mentoring the young women who are currently dismantling our oppressive old systems and all from the pages of the kind of magazine routinely dismissed as trivial, because it's for young women. Thank Welteroth for taking on the world, and for publishing pieces like the one linked here by Lauren Duca which set the world on fire when it was published in December.
