Michael E. Mann, Climate Change Scientist and Advocate for Truth

Climate scientist Michael E. Mann never thought his work would be politicized, but in recent years, it's become all too clear that leaders of a certain party want science to go away. That was the message of the most recent hearings on climate change held by the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Mann knew participating would draw critics from all sides, from the right seeking to undermine his work, and from the left, arguing that his presence legitimized the proceedings. Mann went anyway, because he believes that rebutting misinformation at every turn is the only way to combat climate change denial.

Listen to the interview, and then let's thank him for doing this work. It's not easy.
